Opening Responses
We come together as followers of Christ,
surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses.
Lord, help us to tell your story.
We follow in the steps of men and women
who walked the path of pilgrims.
Lord, help us to find your way.
We are inspired by people who
faced death and persecution.
Lord, help us to carry your cross.
We are encouraged by God’s people
who lived on Earth as citizens of Heaven.
Lord, lift our hearts and minds,
so that we hunger for your Kingdom.
Alleluia! Christ is risen.
He is risen indeed. Alleluia!
Psalm
Glory to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit:
as it was in the beginning, is now,
and shall be forever. Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come; thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.
Closing Responses
Let us throw off everything that slows us down.
We will fix our eyes on Jesus.
Let us run the race that has been set before us.
We will fix our eyes on Jesus.
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus,
who endured the Cross,
ignored its shame,
and sits at the right hand of God.
We will fix our eyes on Jesus.
With those who have gone before us,
we will tell the story of God’s grace,
celebrate the gift of Christ,
and welcome the Holy Spirit into our lives.
Blessed be God forever!
Alleluia! Christ is risen.
He is risen indeed. Alleluia!
