Callan Slipper has worked for many years in the field of ecumenism as a denominational, county, and the Church of England’s national ecumenical officer. He has also worked as a publisher and served on the editorial board of the Italian journal Nuova Umanità and of the English language online journal Claritas: Journal of Dialogue and Culture. As a theologian his concerns have been in the field of the philosophy of religion, especially the experiential dimension of spirituality, interfaith dialogue, and Christian unity. He is an Anglican priest living in a Focolare Community and a member of the Focolare’s international Study Centre, the Abba School. He is author of Five Steps to Living Christian Unity and Enriched by the Other: A Spiritual Guide to Receptive Ecumenism.
