Mission as Nutrition

Mission as Nutrition – are some people on the wrong diet?!
We talk a lot about feeding people, literally and spiritually. But suppose we considered Christian evangelism and service as actual nutrition, – what nutrients are we talking about and what do they do for people? Suppose we thought less about what goes into minds and bodies as food, but consider what that food does within the mind, body and spirit?
What if some Christian diets were actually bad for people, or the equivalent of empty calories, leading to poor health in churches and congregations? What is really nourishing? And can the principles of a truly relational church help determine a nutritious diet for everyone?
